ABOUT ANTECEDENT PROJECTS_

_Audra Lambert (b. 1987, New Orleans) is an independent curator and art critic based in New York City and Founder/Curator of Antecedent Projects (2014), a NYC- based curatorial consultancy focused on site-specific projects. She is curatorial manager of Art in Odd Places 2018: BODY. Lambert has curated exhibits with the Center for Jewish History (2018), New York City Parks Dept's Arsenal Gallery (2017), Flux Art Fair (2016) and more. Her upcoming exhibit, DOMICILE, opens on September 13 at Fountain House gallery in New York City.

Founder/Chief Curator, Audra Verona Lambert

Audra Verona Lambert (she/they) is an independent curator, artist coach and art critic based in New York City. Verona Lambert is Founder/Curator of Antecedent Projects (2014-Present), a curatorial consultancy based between the Midwest and New York City metropolitan area focused on site-responsive exhibitions. Throughout her career, she’s curated exhibitions for various museums, nonprofit art spaces and galleries including FormAH Gallery, Arsenal Gallery, Yeshiva University Museum and more. Verona Lambert has worked in various professional capacities including curatorial - serving as curatorial manager of Art in Odd Places 2018: BODY, and as Project Coordinator for More Art (2015-16) - along with working in development and membership for ArtTable, Japan Society and other national nonprofits.

She served in an advisorial capacity for artist as a Founding Member of Ninth Street Collective on the heels of partnering with Kimi Kitada and Adam Zucker to co-found social justice initiative alt_break. She previously served as an art critic for the Culture Trip, Untapped Cities, Art Nerd NY, Americans for the Arts, and Quiet Lunch, among others.


 

ANTECEDENT Projects is a curatorial consultancy founded by curator audra lambert in 2014 to produce site-specific investigative curatorial projects throughout the greater new york metro area.
